Members of Finance Committee

The Finance Committee (the “Committee”) provides the Executive Council with advice and recommendations to support the decision-making process respecting the financial administration of the National Indigenous Knowledge and Language Alliance (NIKLA). 

Specifically, the Committee assists NIKLA in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities for the financial reporting process, the audit process and the internal control system. NIKLA is seeking interested candidates to fill one or more seats on the Committee. 

Requirements:

• Individuals have the ability to read and understand financial statements that may present accounting issues reasonably expected to be raised within a nonprofit organization. 

• Individuals do not have any conflict of interest that could interfere with their ability to exercise independent judgement and unbiased opinions as a member of the Committee

How do I Express Interest?

Please submit an Expression of Interest, which will be maintained as confidential, to admin@nikla-ancla.com by April 18, 2025.
