Smithsonian Libraries and Archives is hosting an informational webinar. Please see their announcement below for more details.
Wednesday, June 1st at 2pm ET
Are you a librarian who has applied to Smithsonian positions on USA Jobs only to have your application go into a "black hole"? Have you ever wondered the difference between an archivist job in the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives and one in a Smithsonian Museum? Whether you're currently seeking a Smithsonian job or just curious, this online event will help guide you through the process and answer questions.
Join Director Tamar Evangelestia-Dougherty and Associate Director Martin Kalfatovic for a discussion about careers at Smithsonian Libraries and Archives. They'll walk participants through the types of jobs for librarians and archivists as well as the application process, and offer tips and tricks along the way.
Note that we do not plan to record this event, so please be sure to join us live. We are committed to providing access services so all participants can fully engage in these events. Optional real-time captioning will be provided. If you need other access services, please email SLA-RSVP@si.edu. Advanced notice is appreciated.
